INGO Health reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time and without notice to accommodate changes in data protection laws and privacy legislation.


Non-public personally identifiable information ("Information") that identifies users and is not available to the general public. Following, we describe how and when we collect your data.

  • Account, contact, and health profile information (such as name, date of birth, gender, profile photo and postings, email address, postal code, and country).
  • Health and wellness-related data (such as height, weight, and sleep-related information).
  • Fitness and nutrition-related information (such as burned calories, exercise time, number of steps, and water intake).
  • Information about and from INGO Health or third-party devices and apps you choose to connect to INGO Health (such as third-party device manufacturers, models, identifiers, and third-party app IDs, including social media IDs). We also collect data, such as health and wellness-related data and fitness and nutrition-related information, when you link INGO Health with third-party devices and apps, including when such data is saved to your app.


This information is collected in order to set personalized health and wellness challenges.

The purpose of INGO Health is to motivate you to adopt a healthier lifestyle by setting personalized challenges related to health and wellness goals. If the goals are achieved, points may be awarded to you by your organization, subject to rewards redemption at your organization’s discretion.

Information collected by INGO Health will therefore also be used to manage your points and rewards, with your consent, or as directed by you.


When you “Leave the Program” from your profile screen, we erase all your data from our servers. As to what concerns your personal information, we keep them as long as your organization gives us access to them.

The information we collect about our customers or former customers will only be disclosed as permitted or required by law.
Also, we may disclose it to persons or organizations to perform transactions you request or authorize.

Some examples of ways we disclose information:

  • We exchange information about you with persons or organizations who are or will become involved in processing the points and rewards.
  • We could share information with persons or organizations that we have determined need the information to perform a function for us, whether business or professional. These include companies that help us with administrative functions. We oblige all of these entities to keep the information that we provide to them confidential and use the information only for its designated purpose.

We do not sell or disclose your data to non-affiliated third parties or for third parties' direct marketing reasons.


You have the right to choose and opt-out whether your data is disclosed to a third party or used for a different purpose from the one for which it was initially collected or authorized by you.

Exceptions: If the applicable law requires us to maintain information regarding a contract that is still being performed. When the applicable law permits us to retain and continue to use your information and do so only to the extent permitted by law. When you contact us to opt-out, we will explain the options available and comply with your request as required by the principles and applicable law.

When we collect sensitive information, we will obtain your affirmative express consent (opt-in), and when that information is to be disclosed to a third party or used for a purpose other than the exercise of opt-in choice, we will also obtain your affirmative express consent (opt-in).


Only employees who need it, to provide products or services to you, have access to your information. Our employees are trained to safeguard customer information. We have put in place strict physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access by third parties.

We comply with the U.S. Department of Commerce Privacy Shield Framework for E.U.-U.S. regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States. Depending on your situation, by using the application you are consenting on the possibility of such transfer outside the E.U. and acknowledge that the U.S. does not necessarily provide the same level of legal rights and protection that the E.U. provides.

INGO Health commits to cooperate with E.U. data protection authorities (DPAs) and comply with the advice given by such authorities regarding both non-human resources data and human resources data transferred from the E.U. in the employment relationship context.


We store your data on computer systems operated by or under the supervision of INGO Health or our affiliates or service providers or at our facilities. Your information is maintained as long as necessary in connection with both our and your legal rights and obligations. It shall be used for the purposes for which it was collected, to defend or advance legal claims, or as otherwise required by applicable laws. Your data will remain active for three years after the termination of your membership, a period after which it shall be deleted upon expiration of the maximum storage term set forth by applicable law.
